Danielle Craig, founder and President of EmpoweringU LLC, has taught seven collegiate courses over the last seven years at three academic institutions. Her gender equality based courses include: Women in Contemporary Society, Racism and Sexism in the U.S., Gendered Lives and Societies, and Women in Social Media, a one-of-a-kind course Danielle created and designed for Ramapo College.
Danielle received a Bachelor of Arts in Literature with a double major in Women's Studies at Ramapo College of New Jersey. She earned a Master of Science in Women's Studies from Towson University.
As a supporter of global diversity and multiculturalism, Danielle has organized and led student trips to attend United Nations briefings on gender equality. Danielle has been actively connected with the United Nations as an NGO Representative for Fairleigh Dickinson University in the 57th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women, as an NGO CSW member, a former member of the United Nations Association-New York, and was guest speaker to a UN Delegate course on women’s rights.
Danielle was the keynote speaker at the Global Young Voices Panel on Human Trafficking at Fairleigh Dickinson University and has spearheaded service learning projects for college students with anti-trafficking non-profit, NGO Durga Tree International.
She is a lifelong volunteer and has advocated for social causes in her local and international community.
