Ramapo Students Partner with Durga Tree International

Professor Walker of Ramapo College of New Jersey facilitated a Women’s History Month service project with her students of Women in Contemporary Society by partnering with Durga Tree International, a non-profit who directly assists survivors of human trafficking around the world. Students created handcrafted cards with love that will be hand delivered to survivors of trafficking by Durga Tree International’s CEO, Beth Tiger.

Human Trafficking Presentation and Bracelet Making for Survivors with Durga Tree International

Durga Tree International returns to Ramapo College to deliver an educational presentation on trafficking to my students enrolled in Women in Contemporary Society. Some of my students volunteered their time to make bracelets for survivors of human trafficking in Guatemala which the non profit will personally deliver to their shelter overseas.
